Scent 4 Shelter Dogs is not just for shelters. Starting a scentwork program- whether at home or in a shelter- is a life-changing activity that will transform the dogs in your care.

Scent 4 Shelter Dogs shows you how to easily set up a scentwork program while keeping limited resources and time constraints at the forefront.

We offer online and hands-on, in-shelter training for rescues and shelter staff and their volunteers and fosters through Michigan Pet Alliance.

Laurie Horn-CPDT-KA is a member of the Council for Certified Professional Dog Trainers. She has her CPDT-KA, is Certified Fear Free, a Certified Concept Pro Dog Trainer – CCPDT-AD, and a Blue Level World Scent Dog Association (WSDA) Instructor and Level 1 Judge.

We are offering hands-on, in-shelter scentwork training for shelter staff and their fosters and volunteers through Michigan Pet Alliance.
